Patriot Moving, Nat'l Movers Net THEIVES: TOOK MY DEPOSIT- NEVER SHOWED UP! Ripoff N. Miami Florida
On November 14, 2004, I was scheduled for my home furniture to be picked up from my Los Angeles residence and delivered to Dallas Texas. After I heard nothing from PATRIOT MOVING on the 14th, I called the sales person who had given me a cost estimate, confirmed the pickup dates of November 14th or 15th, and charged my credit card for $550.00, named Stuart.
Stuart never returned my call. When I called again I was commanded to call someone named Kimberly in the Customer Relations Department at a different 800 number. This number was a recording, and Kimberly never returned my call. I decided to try to reach Stuart again.
An operator who refused to give her name, only an operator number of 2237 told me that it was PATRIOT MOVING'S policy to not allow anyone to speak to their Sales people after the move was booked and that I must speak to the Customer Relations Dept. only! I began to inform the operator that no one had returned any of my calls, and she crudely interrupted me and repeated the company policy of allowing customers to only speak to Customer Relations Dept.
When I demanded to speak to Stuart, the operator shelled out insults and told me that she was not going to transfer me to anyone, including a supervisor and not to call them anymore.
I began calling repeatedly demanding to speak to anyone, and yet the operator refused and began hanging up on me. After more than one hour of this and an estimated 60 calls, I was transferred to someone in the Customer Relations Dept who gave the name of "Lou", no last name.
"Lou" was equally as rude as the operator, and after calling me a "terrorist" he informed me that at 11:30 A.M., his co-worker Kimberly was told that I was seeking information about my pickup and that she was too busy to call me back. It was too bad for me and there was nothing I could do.
I never heard from anyone at Patriot Moving, and no one ever came to pickup my furniture. I was told that I was not entitled to recve a refund because it was less than 7 days before pickup. So I gave PATRIOT MOVING $550.00 for nothing.

Fred, you got lucky today!
Randy Goldberg, the owner of NMN and PM, rpeplied to another complaint about Patriot Moving, but was obviously thinking of your story. 6 minutes after that, he replied to this, your, complaint. Well, actually, STUART replied to this complaint. Now, the coincidences of the same excuses being said, so close in time, lead me to believe that Randy and Stuart are one and the same. It does not surprise me that Randy is that hands-on, I bet the pool of available employees willing to lie, cheat, and otherwise empty victim's pockets only to line Randy's is growing pretty slim. I saw an ad for a position open at NMN about three months ago, they do offer $80,000 a year, but the applicants must be "extremely aggressive" in their sales tactic. Does this fit the description of Stuart?
So Randy, perhaps you can explain, since we have your attention, why the sole owner of NMN is now National Holdings Corp, not you and Aubrie? Oh, and why the sole owners of National Holdings are you and Aubrie? Trying to escape the inevitable lawsuits? Or just skirting some tax laws?

Add LIARS to the charge!! ..hundreds of complaints serve as proof of what a senister company Patriot Moving aka Nat'l Movers Network really is.

Well well, I see Stuart S. at Patriot/Nat'l Movers Network has crawled out from under their company rock in Florida.
Stuart, if you will notice that I sent my complaint to this Consumer Alert website on the date that your company was suppose to pick my funrniture up. Actually, I was typing while I was calling YOU at Patriot, and being barrage with insults by an operator. I also sent you an email telling you how shameful you should be, and you never responded to my email. All of this occured on the date that your company was suppose to do what I paid a $550.00 deposit for.
After receiving $550.00 from me, neither you nor anyone at your company ever contacted me again. Your rebuttal is the first I have heard from anyone at your company.
These hundreds of complaints serve as proof of what a senister company Patriot Moving aka Nat'l Movers Network really is. Too bad.

I specifically left several messages for this customer two days before the pick up date and she never responded. On the day of the pick up our driver attempted one last time to ensure that we pick her up and she stated that she was out of town and if we can pick her up the following week. This customer is lying and just because we could not pick her up the following week on the day she wanted she wrote this complaint. We offered her the rate to be good for one year, she refused and I offered her an additional two years to use this service for her or a family member. She did not want to cooperate. Here at Patriot Moving we try to work with the customer as closely as possible and ensure that the customer is satisfied. Unfortunately some customers just never are.

Dispute it with your credit card company

Trust me, I speak from experience when I say you are MUCH better off if the movers hired by Patriot/National Moving Network did not take your stuff.
Since they did not fulfill the contract you paid them for, you can dispute the $550 charge with your credit card company. Show the CC any paperwork you have, and/or your contract showing the dates. You should be able to get your deposit back.
