Beware of Patsy De Leon at Flagstar Bank. She works at the "Office of the President" and never answers her phone at 248 312 2114.

Patsy (Patricia) works at Flagstar Bank which purchased my mortgage from Rocket Mortgage, who i loved as they knew how to treat their customers.

Upon purchasing my loan, they cancelled my autopay and stopped taking payments for my mortgage. When I immediately found out, I quickly updated autopay with them again and satisfied a past due balance. They told me it wouldn't impact my credit because of their mistake of not notifying me properly about the loan transfer (they just sent me junk mail).

I've filed complaints on Patsy De Leon and Flagstar with

- Consumer Protection Bureau

- Michican FTC

- PA FTC

All are working on trying to get them to remove the blemish from my credit report, but they just send the same canned responses over and over again.

They also offer to speak with me, but whenever I call Patsy at 248 312 2114, it just goes to voicemail and no calls are ever returned.

Also, she has no Linkedin Profile and basically doesn't exist on the internet. Who knows is this is even a real person, but she's obviously very bad at her job.

If anyone has any info on how to actually speak to Patsy De Leon, please let me know - as I will not stop till his horrible bank stands by their word of removing the blemish off of my credit report.

I'll be posting reviews about Flagstar and Patsy on every single review site out there and if anyone else has experience with this, please contact me.

You're A Flagstar Employee Aren't You?

Sorry boss, but you're misinformed about how real customer service works at a reputable company.

A company must notify you properly when they buy your mortgage. Since Flagstar is such a poorly run bank, they failed to do that. A real bank would send you a registered letter, signature confirmation, etc to notify you of such a major change.

Flagstar needs to learn how a real bank operates and Patsy De Leon needs to learn how real customer service works - and stop ignoring my emails and messages.

Overall a a poor experience that the FTC is handling now and I'll likely win.

To all of you that have been scammed by Flagstar in this manner, reach out to me and I can show you how to get this resolved.

Irrelevant

What you THOUGHT is irrelevant. The point being, you did not pay your mortgage on time, you ignored important mail, and you did not read the statement from your current servicer, either (they would have both told you about your upcoming transfer). Having auto pay does not relieve you from the obligation to pay the mortgage on time. If an autopay does not go through you have to send the payment a different way. It's a convenience feature, not a get out of jail free card. And yes, you are obligated to monitor your bank account at least monthly. Guess what will happen if you have fraud and you didn't report it right away?? That's right the bank will deny your claim. The same applies here. You didn't make your payment due to negligence on your part, so a negative mark on your credit is appropriate.

Yes, Seriously

Noone has ever heard about Flagstar bank outside of Michigan, and if you google them, they are riddled with fraud, spam and more - so it indeed looked like junk mail / spam phone calls.

They run a poor process and have virtually 0 customer service. I shouldn't have to monitor my bank account every month to make sure very mortgage and every vendors system is working.

It is common courtesy to remove a mishap on a credit report, epecially when the evidence is clear and the payments are paid immediately which they were.

That's why i've filed complaints with the FTC and will continue to file negative reviews about them and Patsy De Leon on every website that allows it.

First, there is no possible way they would have dinged you unless you failed to make your mortgage payment for several months. When a loan is transferred, there is a grace period when the old lender will forward payments to the new one. Second, the two companies will have sent you at least 5 letters concerning the transfer. They are not "junk mail", they are first class mail from your lender. If you ignore your lenders' attempts to communicate with you, that's on you, not on them. Third, you should have noticed your payment not getting debited. So I don't see any reason why the lender shouldn't ding your credit. You failed to make payments on time. And I've had a loan transferred between those two companies so I know exactly how it works. If you
