Patty's Boxers Desposit Scam, No Puppies, Will Not Communicate Cannon Falls Minnesota

Took deposit and ran.  This is not an honest seller.  Seller claims female animal passed.  Deposit was to be put toward another litter, but seller no longer responds to calls or emails.  Seller has also not responded to the BBB request for information.  Stay away from this seller.  After filing my complaint with the BBB of MN, I had realized I was one of 4 having the same problem.  After reading the complaints, it's obvious there may be far many more victims to this scam than those who reported it.  The complaints are similar, but slightly different.  It's obvious they've been doing this for a while.  Or worse, a ponzi scheme.  It seems when I was making my deposit, others were promised refunds.

This breeder takes your deposit, talks with you for approximately 90 days, then states something has happened to the breeding mother or pair.  I've read she's made excuses of disease as well.  In every case, as with mine, they cut off all communications approxiately at the 90 day mark.  I have yet to receive any compensation from my deposit.  Note, this breeder fails under the contract if no animal is provided.  They don't even offer the next litter.  If you read the other complaints on other boards, including the Better Business Bereau of MN, it is a common motive.  Because she works online, she has potentially scammed people nationwide.  I'm hoping posts such as this will help educate people of this person/business.

Stacey,

There are many reason someone would want to buy rather than save a boxer from the pound.  This would include the desired breed not available, not home-worthy (for elderly or the young), or the ability to train the animal.  In our case it was all of the above.  Also there's one personal reason that's none of your business.  Your judgmental case is ignorant and subjective.  There are many other reasons why one would choose to buy, all of which is a personal choice.

Stop making choices for other people.  Stop making assumptions that people who chose to buy are evil.  You obviously have your own ideas, but they're your's only.  Stop assuming you know.  All of our animals have been from the pound or rescued from the streets.  All have lived way past their expected years.  We continue to do this, but has "personal" reason to make this choice.

This is not about you hating people, this about reporting a bad business.  Stay on subject or don't say anything at all.

BUYING A DOG???? Really??? You should be ashamed of yourself!!!!!!!! There are plenty of Boxer rescues that have dogs for adoption all over the country - I HAD a Boxer that was a stray and lived a long life because I RESCUED her.  Pathetic.
