Patzmeow Cattery AKA Patrick Babin ripoff Lafayette Louisiana
Watch out for this cat breeder, he is very dishonest and an expert scammer. He will keep your money and not send you the cat.
We paid him in full $2000.00 USD for one of his Kittens at the time of birth, and he kept our money and never shipped us the Kitten.
Every time we asked when the cat was going to be shipped (as it got closer for the kitten to be old enough to go to it's new home) he had a different excuse each time as to why he wasn't sending the cat, we have had to hire a laywer and it has been over 1 year since we sent him the money and he will not return our money or ship the cat. Buyer Beware of this cat breeder!

False Information Reported by Individual
#3REBUTTAL Owner of company
Mon, August 20, 2012
The person filing this report neglected to state the fact the he misled me from the time of the first contact. Unfortunately, I was ready to ship the animal when I discovered this. The individual was attempting to purchase an exotic cat species. The transportation of this exotic species across internationa borders is controlled by the CITIES Act. I specifically stated on my website and in all communications with individuals concerning shipping internationally that I DO NOT SHIP INTERNATIONALLY. This individual gave me false information about the location of his residence. He stated that he lived in the United States. He gave a rented postal box address as his residence and repeatedly lied about the fact that it was a PO box. Then he gave another address in the United States as his home address. When I tracked down the actual resident, I was told that this person did not live at that location. It turned out that the buyer lived outside of the United States and was planning to smuggle the animal across the border between the US and Canada. I told him that I would refund his money when I located another buyer for the animal...this was because I had turned away other buyers while I was holding the kitten and there is a long vetting process to determine if the owner is suitable for the animal. At this point, the buyer began threatening to hire a lawyer, which he did. After some negotiations, it was agreed that he had found a buyer in the United States, who I verified, and the animal was personally delivered by me to the new buyer. During this ordeal, I spoke to an exotic animal breeder in the country where the original buyer lived and I was told that he had repeatedly approached her about purchasing animals but she had refused because he had a very bad reputation in that country...transporting exotic species across the US-Canadian Border. Funny that he would continue the charade that he lives in the US.
