Paul Cesena of Lemon Grove, CA sold a fake heavy gold bracelet. It was marked 18K. It was supposedly white gold.
However, when it was assayed we later found out that the 18K stamp was placed there illegally because it was actually gold coated copper and nickel. Items marked 18K must be 18K all the way through.
Plus, he traveled several hours away from his home to sell it. Perhaps he has scammed gold buyers in so many other places that he has to scam several different buyers so he doesn't get caught.
