Paul's Locksmith Big RIP-OFF Sumner Washington
On August 20, 2015 my daughter had locked her keys in her car. I had called several locations and Paul's Locksmith had quoted me a $15 service fee and $29 to unlock the car. The technician showed up and spoke very little english and would not open the door without her signature. After unlocking the car, which took about 2 minutes, he charged my daugter $168.00. I have called and emailed them on numerous occasions and to this day I have not received a call back. Ever time I call, I am told to email them from their website and somebody will get back to me. NOTHING!!! They are a huge RIP-OFF and a joke to anybody in this business.

I am aware that this is a skilled labor but FYI this is not the first time I have this happened within the last year. The last time was New Years Eve and it cost me a whole $50. It takes a wedge pump and rod to open the door so if you are paying $200 you are also being ripped off. I'm not looking for cheap I am looking for fair not gouged. Have a nice day.

Sorry tosay this but around $200 is the AVERAGE to get yourself back into your vehicle. While I dont agree IF they quoted you those prices, odds are that they gave themselves a bit of wiggle room by telling you the locksmith is the FINAL person on the price. It doesnt matter if it was 2 mins or 2 hours. The locksmith gets the same price no matter what. You DO realize that a locksmith IS what is known as SKILLED LABOR!!! Meaning that THEY posses a skillset that others DO NOT possess. THEY had to go LEARN how to do that job. So THEY get paid a pretty penny. The down side is that EVERYONE expects that its going to be CHEAP!!! If YOU want cheap put a rock through the window instead of calling a locksmith.
