Paul Smith (Payday Loan SCAM) Too numerous to name Payday Loan Fraud Tustin, California
These phone calls started last year when I took an online CashnetUSA payday loan. And no, since then I haven't had a problem with finances, and all my cards are completely paid off.
Recently, they've escalated to more than once a day, and they are calling my friends and family. I've even told them I know they are fraudulent and hang up on them, but it doesn't bother them at all, they will call back and leave a threatening voice-mail if I don't pick up.
They will introduce themselves as a variety of american names, but you can clearly hear they are east Indian, and they are in a noisy call center room.
They always threaten to arrest you, get you fired, and get you thrown out of your home unless you pay them $[fill in amount here].
I am going to have someone else (and my family) tell them I'm deceased. It's a shame I have to lie to not be harassed. And there doesn't seem to be any way to counteract this issue. The Tustin Police department doesn't even have a fraud department listed.
