I saw their ad on hoobly for goldendoodle puppies for sale. They had pictures and a description. I ended up texting back and forth with the woman who had the puppies. I ended up picking a puppy and sending her a $200 deposit via PayPal. After a day or 2 of asking for more pictures of the puppy I was getting, she told me someone broke into her home and stole all the puppies.

I went on Facebook and searched Goldendoodle puppies, and I just happened to see the exact pictures of the puppies on a breeders page. I contacted the breeder and told her that her pictures were stolen and being used to receive deposits. She called and texted the scam artist (who goes by Paula Hancock). The scam artist still tried to pretend she owned these puppies.

Eventually she owned up to it and said it was her first time doing what she did. But when I googled her hoobly account username, it showed me that she’s made postings in the past. She currently has 2 new postings for other puppies. So she is still actively taking deposits online from people for puppies she doesn’t have !!
