Brandon Owens, the owner, fixes time sheets to what HE wants them to read.  Doesn't pay you for what you actually work.  Wants YOU to buy your own clothes (uniforms) will not provide them (he barely pays minimum wage) Who, that works for him, can afford to buy a whole, new wardrobe.  He steals from you.  He does not allow you to take a break every 4 hours.  He won't allow you to bring food to eat since he won't let you break.  He hires 16 yr olds to care for YOUR dogs.  YOU are putting YOUR dogs lives' at risk if you leave them at Paw Beach Resort in Plano.


Another thing, if you pay for a suite, as soon as you (the dog owner) leave, he moves them to a small kennel.


HE IS A RIPOFF!!!!!

Actually, the complaint came from someone that used your services and knows current and past employees.

Kira Gurganus "justpchy00" (the author of this report) was terminated two days prior to posting this report for compromising the safety of the same dog twice in one day after being warned after the first instance.

If you don't want your time clock corrected then don't milk the clock. Clock out when your shift ends, not 20 minutes later every day. Paw Beach Resort will not pay anyone for milking the clock. If your shift is over and your replacement is always there ahead of schedule then clock out according to schedule. To do otherwise is theft. We strive to minimize unreasonable costs such as this in order to keep costs down for our clients.

Paw Beach Resort currently employs appoximately 10 team members. They range in age from 16-65. The sixteen year old that Mrs. Gurganus refers to in her report is a stellar employee. He has NEVER compromised the safety of any of our guests and would probably step in front of a very large bullet in order to preserve the welfare of any of our doggie guests. This 16 year old started with Paw Beach Resort at $8/hr, has since been promoted twice and currently makes $9/hr. Paw Beach has never paid anyone minimum wage. In fact we pride ourselves on paying higher than industry standards in order to attract more qualified team members.

The disgrunted, terminated employee who filed this bogus report worked a 6 hour shift in Doggie Daycare. Food is not allowed in the daycare room EVER and never has been EVER. This rule exists for the safety and welfare for our doggie guests. On a couple of occasions Mrs. Gurganus worked an extended shift and was obviously allowed to realize a lunch hour. The safety and welfare of our guests is paramount. It is our primary focus and concern. Our safety and welfare standards are high and are never compromised.

All of the Suites at Paw Beach Resort are luxury suites. They are ALL a roomy 50 square feet. There are no "small kennels" at our facility to move them to.

Please come by anytime between 7am - 7pm, 7 days a week for a tour of our facility. We would love to show you around and/or provide you with a list of references from any of our 1000+ happy and satisfied dog owners. Your dogs happiness and safety are the reason that we exist.
