We leased a solar shower sunless tanning bed from Lease Process who sold lease to Pawnee Leasing. Pawnee Leasing would not honor the payoff given to us by Lease Process. They said it was a discounted rate and they did not do discounted rates!

That was only the beginning of the problems. The solar shower did not work properly after 6 weeks of use. After 5 months of "repairs" and still not any relief, we stopped paying the payments on the equipment because it was under warranty and no one would fix it. The expected us to continue to pay $1500 a month for something we could not use. We paid for return shipping of the equipment to the leasing company after continued threats by them of what they were going to do to us if we did not pay the lease.

Keep in mind this is a piece of equipment that was under warranty and the vendor, manufacturer nor leasing company would do anything to help solve the problem. It was "Oh well, you still owe us even if it doesn't work. That is not our problem".

We worked out a payment plan with them until the case was supposed to go to Federal Court against the vendor and mfg company. All we requested was an accounting of how they arrived at their payoff figures, what they sold the repossed equipment for and how much was still owed. They refused to provide the info then and still have not even though we have been through court with them.

They got a default judgment against us since our atty here in Colorado said "don't worry about going to court, they can't do anything since this is tied up in Federal Court".

Wrong!!! They got a $54,000 judgment on a $27,500 piece of equipment that was only five months old. Pawnee said they only sold the equipment for $2495 but refuse to show us the paperwork or tell us who they sold the equipment toso we can verify the figures.

Now they are taking almost $3000 a month from my husband's check under garnishment proceedings. When they renewed the garnishment after 6 months they changed the figure again. We received letter from their atty in May saying they had made some miscalculations on the amount due and sent the court a partial release saying that Pawnee had mistakenly miscalculated what was owed and the judgment should only be for $43,000 minus what we had paid leaving a balance of $17,000.

Since that letter in May, we have paid almost $9,000 more and then when they renewed their garnishment, now they say we owe $27,000!!! We received a letter today saying they had subtracted wrong and had, once again, made an error in their figures.

The partial judgment paperwork sent to the courts was because we threatened to sue them for fraud because they did not show payments made to them on the account and was calculating an extra year of interest at 24%.

Now the atty's response letter to the court for where we are saying the figures are wrong and we want full accounting, is rude and hateful. This is a court document and they are saying how we are trying to manipulate the court and how we have no respect for the court, etc... when these idiots cannot provide proper figures or tell how they arrive at payoff information.

Do not ever lease anything from them, I promise you will regret it.
