Helene,
I would be happy to send you a picture of Zoe. Her birth date is Feb 22nd(I guess). Like you I have no papers. Would you like for me to email it? I could take a picture with my digital so it will be recent.
Thanks,
Anne

Anne,

Hazel & Baxter's birthdate is MArch 6, 2006. That is if you can believe what Amy said, to this date I have not recieved any papers on our dogs. Amy said the most they would be was 6 -8 lbs. Hazel is 17.1 and Baxter is 18. Amy also said they would be reds ( in a picture she sent they looked red) but baxter is cream and hazel is reddish cream. Can you send pictures?

Helene

Helene,
It sounds like you got a puppy from the same litter as me! Zoe was supposed to be a red toy and she is cream and apricot and weighs 12 lbs.
When I got her she was full of worms and would not eat. She began eating her poop. She also has hip issues. Her hips pop out of place at least once a day. She may have to have surgery.
I love her so much and hate that she has to be in pain

Red Mange !!! Dog sold to me by Betty Moore 495 Court Road Winfield,Alabama 35594 Phone (205) 886-7549 Website www.fancypaws.homestead.com .I bought Moore's Chocolate Candy a one year old Shih-Tzu on 6-27-06 and on 8-26-06 I had to take Candy to Tidmore Vet. Clinic in Northport, Alabama because Candy was so week and about to die.Candy was raised on a rabbit cage on a wire floor and did these Crazy circiles .I found this out after I got her home but wanted to keep her and work her out of doing this.A healthy dog could handle these circiles but as a Red Mange Carrier as Candy was could not handle this and died in the end . Betty Moore took Candy as a stud fee at 6 weeks old and owned Candy for the entire year of her life.Candy was born on 6-26-05 and Betty Moore registered Candy into her own name like she was going to keep Candy on 3-14-06 at 9 months old . Candys sister died from RED mange one month later so Candy went up for sale !!!

The owner of the Dam David and Lindy Canterberry of Cottondale,ALabama - Email- canterberrytails@bellsouth phone (205)556-5732 adimitted that Betty Moore knew Candy broke out and dipped Candy to grow her hair back. David Canterberry also adimitted the litter mate David kept for him self the sister to Candy ( Little Dolly) died at 10 months old from red Mange and that the mom Jen-ne-Linn CKC # SH-02352329 to these pups broke out as a young dog herself.David Canterberry Bred the mom again and she had pups a few months ago and they will carry Red Mange. I bought Candy for Betty Moore the owner of Candy and she will NOT stand behind what she had sold me .Betty Moore has 100 dogs so go take a look for your self. The only reason I wanted Candy was because she was chocolate and was chocolate factored off of a chocolate sire( Pratt's Capt. Casey's CoCo ) CKC # PED00505421 also a AKC STUD known as CoCo.

I have registration papers in Betty Moores name and date on back where Candy was signed over to me , Pictures of Poor Candy,Vet. Bills , all vet. records stating Candy had red mange( Skin Test) ,All emails, and Betty Moore did not care about what this poor dog went through or how Candy suffered and died . OR how I suffered !!! This is what gives all breeders a Bad name because of the Betty Moores and the David Canterberrys of the world. Please pass this on to everyone that breeds, looking to buy a dog or owns dogs . I could have bought a very nice healthy chocolate shih-tzu with all the money I lost because I did buy from Betty Moore. This is all TRUE and and I have Strict Proof and CAN back everything I posted . Please tell these people how you feel about what they have done and how unethical it is not to stand behind what you sell and to breed RED MANGE Carriers !!!! If you want pictures I will be more than glad to send them and the STRICT PROOF .....Todays date is 11-17-06 and these two breeders will not contact me to work this out .

I was sent a dog with fraudulant health records. She has ear mites and is in need of having 3 teeth removed. She was filthy when I got her also and had supposedly been to the groomers that day. I recieved no akc papers or vaccination records. She will not return my emails or answer her phone! I am going to stop payment on my credit card transaction.

I sent Helene's letter to the Georgia Department of Agriculture's Animal Protection Division. This is the agency which oversees breeders, pet stores, shelters and some other animal related businesses. The reply I received was that everyone with a complaint must make this complaint by phone to them so they can collect all the information necessary for an investigation. Their number is 800-282-5852 and ask for Animal Protection Division or call directly to Animal Protection Div. 404-656-4914. When speaking with Animal Protection, inform them there is an email complaint already at their office and you are following up.

In order for Dept of Agriculture to investigate, they need the who, what, where, when etc.

When making the complaint, do as Helene did - send a copy to the local humane society and also to HSUS's which is working very hard to get rid of puppy mills, and all those pet shops that sell puppy mill pups.

Dear Amy Veal, a.k.a. Amy Lynn:

I have seen that you and Pawsitively Perfect Pets are under fire on line for your fraudulent business practices.

I have posted on ripoff.com referencing your lack of ethics and false advertising.

By this letter I also intend to report you to all relevant government agencies.

The timeline of this puppy scam began in April when I started an on-line search for red-haired toy poodle puppies. I was happy to see that you posted a litter of red-haired toys.

E-mail correspondence ensued and we agreed that I would purchase two red-haired toy poodles for $1600. You will recall that you also agreed to handle all the shipping and travel costs. You should also recall that you agreed to send their AKC papers and photos of the parents.

Your lies up to this point included: the puppies were not reds, the puppies were not toys, I had to pay $178 at the airport to get the puppies out of hock,' and you refused to send any paperwork or photos.

I do not have to prove to you the fact that these dogs are tan, that they are 14 pounds (putting them in the miniature category, not the toy) that I have a receipt for $178 from Newark Airport, or that you have to date not sent any paperwork or photos. Because the main point is that you failed to exhibit truth in advertising, and that you are an unrepentant fraud.

I was appalled to see the conditions in which the puppies were shippedthey were filthy and scared and had to be on antibiotics for six weeks after their arrival.

I was especially upset to have my emails asking for paperwork returned to me as spam.'

I was further shocked to find postings on line with complaints similar to mine.

I am dismayed that my puppies continue to grow up to 14 pounds at only seven months old, when you said they would be between 6 and 8 pounds.

I was saddened and angered to find that you have sold puppies that died due to preventable health ailments.

I was infuriated that you had the gall to post on line coming here to defend myself [and] my puppies against people who are now complaining that [there] puppies grew 2 inches taller than expected, the puppies color lightened or [darken], and they don't like the color now, etc is totally ridiculous!

The truth is: if you advertise a certain color or size, and regardless of my reasons for wanting that color or size, you should deliver what you advertise. Your lack of remorse by your postings on line is appalling.

I am lucky that my poodles are healthy. It is not my intention to breed or show them or else I would have a major problem with their color and size. Their misshapen ears and improperly docked tails would also be a problem.

But this is beside the point. Amy Veal, a.k.a. Amy Lynn, should not be in the business of breeding and selling dogs.

Your lack of regard for the dogs' well-being, your lack of regard for buyers' expectations, and your lack of regard of business ethics are inexcusable.

Sincerely,
Helene xxxx
