Pay Day Loan Resource Center WWW.PDLOANCS.COM CHARGED ME FOR A PAY DAY LOAN MEMBERSHIP I DID NOT APPROVE Internet
Same thing that happened to you guys happened to me as well. A few weeks ago I noticed a 31.98 charge from Identity Theft Protection Services, which I did not authorize. I complained to my bank, Wachovia, filed an unauthorize ACH transaction dispute for that charge and the resulting NSF fee. I also filed a complaint with the Arizona Better Business Bureau. They have until February 14th to respond to the complaint.
Then, today, I noticed a 6.98 charge from WWW.PDLOANCS.COM on my bank statement. I did not authorize this. When I googled that URL (I tried entering the URL into my browser and got a error message), I was taken to a PDF file (not even a real website) that gave the terms and conditions of the Pay Day Loan Resource Center - which they say if we show up on that URL, even without reading the terms and conditions, then we are agreeing to be charged that membership amount each month for a subscription service that they really do not go into detail about. What are we getting in return? What benefit is this membership going to give us other than less money in our bank accounts?
I could not cancel by email - email does not exist. I could not cancel by phone, the company puts you on hold for forever and I did not want to risk being forwarded to an international customer service center in India that may charge me $300 for a phone call! I will be filing a better business bureau report with this company as well.
Those of you who say that you never signed up with this company and have no clue where it came from, I think I know. I *tried* to sign up for a credit card, a preloaded card, from Trifecta Card. When I sent my information, it branched out into fifteen pop ups from other companies - all that now had my information (stupid me!) and probably were going to use it to auto-debit me to death, because they could "claim" that I authorized the charge even if I did not read the terms and conditions! I x-ed out of all the popups but the damage was done - I had already applied for Trifecta. Even though I got no benefit out of it, because I never got a card, never got a confirmation, never even got to finish my information before I was sent to pay day loan sites, auto loan sites, and everything else that popped up. Its a scam people! Don't fall for it!!!! And fight it tooth and nail!
