Complaint Review: Paycation

 I was told about Paycation from a friend. She was booking trips. I inquired online about it. A lady named Ginger forwarded my info to a lady in Atlanta. I met up with her and I'm thinking I was signing up for a travel agent only. She said, "there's no money in that" and suggested that I sign up for another part of the job that had you to recruit members and the starting fee was much higher. I told her I didn't want to recruit others because I'm not good at it. She promised to help me. I agreed and paid 149.95 to start it up. Then later on in the conversation she told me it was 59.95 a month until I signed 12 people under me. If I signed 12 active people my monthy fee will be waived. I very reluctantly agreed. she said once I get to the executive level (signing up 3 people) with her Speaking to the potential clients - this would be my training. I would need to sign up the others on my own. my husband and I couldn't do it together so I had to pay 50.00 for him to get his certificate. Well, she missed a few appointments that was set up. To the point the potential clients were upset. I told her about it and I was very agitated. I didn't like her response. She was very defensive. Barely two weeks in I sent an email to the company with my situation and requested someone else or a refund. I couldn't get anyone else. They told me to sit out 3 months, let it cancel and just pay the fee over again with someone else. I couldn't believe it. I told them I didn't want to do that. They had a gentlemen call me to help after me calling and sending several emails. We spoke one time only. He gave me a general spill and nothing else. With no help I'm still paying the monthly fee that went up to 69.95 a month. Still have no one under me and I'm clueless. I had a few people go on my page and get hotels (Priceline) which was suppose to pay me commission that I never received. I asked them for a full refund and they refused. They only said I can get 3 months plus my commission. Commission was only about 15 bucks. The biggest way for you to make money is by recruiting people. Sounds like a pyramid right? They say they are not because you supposedly selling product- travel. Which you may have to wait 45 days to receive.
