Payless Shoesource francise by Sakal Group Israel is unwilling to uphold the Payless return policy existent in the USA

Payless in the USA on their website states clearly "Return for any reason".

Sakal is not intereted in good faith.

If they feel you are too hard on your shoes, and they go bad on you right away, after one or 2 wearings, they will keep your money and spit in your face.

We bought a pair of little girls dress flats at Payless in Ramot Mall, Jerusalem. They were overpriced at over $30 but we are grandparents and were just trying to please a little girl- our grand daughter. We didn't expect them to last months and months, even though the box says "durable design"!

After only 2 wearings the shoes started to rub off at the tips.

We attempted to return the shoes to the store, with receipt in hand within their 14-day return policy (this is the law in Israel)

The manager not only accused us of abuse of the shoes, he refused to accommodate us in any way.

Further more, he threw us out of the store- twice threatening to call security if we did not leave his store.

Sakal Customer Service was unrepentent with a KGB attitude.I was grilled and no accommodations were forthcoming.

It is pretty amazing that a store would be so arrogant as to be willing to lose a customer over an item that probably cost them no more, if not less, than $3 (yet was sold for over $30!)

Do not buy from this franchise. They are making fun of the customers and laughing all the way to the bank!

It may be an American brand, but they do not offer American style customer service.
