Complaint Review: PaymentOne Inc. - Member's Edge

PaymentOne, Inc. - Member's Edge, Easy VoiceMa I was charged $19.95 twice on my CenturyTel phone bill. The long distance call detail read on 03/27/08 , call to Easy VoiceMa at 12:00 A.M. and on 04/24/08, call to Easy VoiceMa at 12:A.M. We had no idea what this was. We called the number on the bill to question it, and they knew right away what we were complaining about. They said we didn't have to pay it; Never told us what it was. Carol Stream Illinois

We received our CenturyTel phone/Internet bill and noticed 2 long distance charges of $19.95 each. Both were made at 12:00 A.M. Both had 0 min., and both had the call was placed to Easy VoiceMa.

On the bill, below the call detail, it read that if we had any questions, to call PaymentOne, Inc. billing on behalf of Member's Edge - 888-238-5118. We called the number, and they knew right away what we were complaining about.

They said that they would take off the charge, but we never could get them to tell us what the charge was for. All they said was that it was some survey we might have taken on the computer that charged us.

If we wouldn't have noticed this on our bill, we would have paid $40.00 extra.
