Complaint Review: Paypal

In January I applied for a translator job on Careerbuilder website. As part of accepting payments from global clients

I had to verify my Paypal account. They went ahead and verified my account. Upon this happening Paypal informs me of activity on my account. Thinking of the verification process in place I was not too worried. I checked anyway to be sure and there is a negative 800.00 on my account from PAYPAL!!

Apparently a Kristoher Smith (*who I never met and do not know) Deposited money into my account and then filed the funds stolen by me???

How can this be even?? My account always has a minimal balance of a few dollars but not 800.00!!! To this day after I reported this to- The local Police fraud unit, the FBI who informed me this was called the Nigerian Scam and paypal is liable, the Secret Service who also agreed Paypal needs to take the negative balance off my account and stick it where the sun does not shine!! Also Paypal who has SEVERAL requests to take the balance off my account and investigate further-they've been very rigorous in IGNORING all my fraud reports. Also The State Attorney in Fla has a report, The BBB who told me it was the "419" scam??

Apparently this MUST be an inside job and to this DAY almost 6 months later they have ignored all my requests and reports and my bank accounts were overdrafted 175.00 from repeated attemtpts from Paypal to recover these funds and my account on the Paypal site still in the negative an excess of 787.00!!! This is outrageous and all my Ebay purchases went into default because all funds deposited into this account the funds are ABSORBED IMMEDIATELY towards repaying a negative balance I NEVER CREATED!!!

Where is my protection as a consumer?
Should their funds not be INSURED and if the Kristopher Smith was protected by his OWN DEPOSIT AND WITHDRAWAL on my account without any AUTHORIZATION on my part-WHERE THE HELL IS MY PROTECTION AND WHY CAN NO ONE ENFORCE PAYPAL TO REMOVE THIS??

I really need help, I have not had any recourse in exerting some muscle on them to restore my account to the positive balance, reimburse my purchase deposits for my purchases and retract and compose an apology letter for my bank and the sellers that did not receive my payments becuase of their OWN FRAUDULENT PRACTICES UNAUTHORIZED ON MY ACCOUNT!!!

Please if there is any consumer law I can use or protect myself against them before they send me to collections as well and put it on my credit when I least expect it-Please respond to me and let me know if there is class action suit also happening!!
