If you filed your IRS return with TaxAct and chose to have your return deposited to a PayPower Visa PrePaid debit card:
PayPower is practicing FRAUD they are telling consumers that they have mailed their cards, these are never received. When they contact PayPower they are given the choice to have a new card expedited to them that costs $25.00 still to never receive this card. The consumers that do finally receive their cards only to find their money has been put on hold. Consumers try to use the cards to make purchases to be declined. I can not believe that Bancorp and TaxAct both reputable companies are involved with such a fraudulent company. If you have received your PayPower card and can access your funds you should get every penny off of it ASAP.
I urge anyone that is able to read this post to please contact your Attorney general of your state and report this company. Below is a link to find your states attorney general.
