Complaint Review: PC Direct Biz

I was approved 02/04. As requested I sent in a voided check, paystubs, and drivers license. They took the $99 deposit and I waited 2 weeks,nothing. I called and was told I didn't have a lease sent in which was wrong considering the only way they couldv'e gotten my money was through the check sent in with the lease.

Anyway, they called back said the lease "just arrived" and my computer would be here in 2 weeks. A few days later I was sent a letter asking for $350.00 deposit due to changes in my credit report. I sent it and 2 months went by with my $99 a month payment being withdrawn but no computer.

I emailed them and called several times asking what the status was. When I called they would say email, when I emailed I got no answers except for the auto responses. Then they stopped answering the phone.

I asked them for a refund and was emailed back that there is not a refund 60 days after the lease has been signed, even though there was no product. Finally after all my emails I received this one on 7/1/04. Except I received a reciept of what I ordered no number and no tracking info!

I have come to the conclusion I will never get my computer or my money back, $600 is hard to come by, for those who work hard for it.
