I recently tried to purchase a laptop through this company because they claim to have easy financing and my credit is on the downside. They claim to run your credit and with 99$ down will ship you a computer and you will begin monthly payments. This is not so.

I ran my credit and they approved me. Unfortunalty I did not check this site before I sent them all the neccessary documents and they deducted the 99$ from my account. Then, as I anticipated, They sent me a email informing me I had to put another 23% down before they would ship it. Now this same unit direct from HP costs 850$, they were pricing it well above 1300$ So this means I would pretty much pay for the unit upfront and then pay for it again through payments later on. They justify this by stating if my credit score drops from the first time they run it they require more moneys down.

Unfortunatly for them I am aware that my credit could not of possibly dropped because I haven't missed a payment on anything in over two years. I then called to speak with a representative to ask for proof of my credit "dropping" and the person I spoke with got terribly rude and then hung up on me!!!! I then in turn filed a complaint with the bbb and i recieved a letter back from them saying the account is resolved? I have no idea why because here is pc direct biz's explanation.

If Daniel had proof that his credit score did not drop he could had faxed it to 770 436 8508 and if Transunion which is who are reports come from for all 3 bureaus made a mistake then we would have fixed it and shipped the pc with no additional monies down. Every customer always says nothing changed on their credit and
yes you can review someone's credit daily and yes within 30 day's there are changes and inquiries and scores go up and down based on when the customers creditors reports to the bureaus and what the customer is applying for.

This method of our was suggested by someone who has been in the credit field for years and has stopped us from shipping computers to people who would have more
than likely not been able to pay in the long run

In turn, now furious, I am waiting from a response from the bbb and pc direct biz, because I have asked for proof of my credit score dropping for them to not have shipped me my computer. They will not refund my money so I will not give up until they cant take advantage of unsuspecting people again. DO NOT DO BUISNESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!

There will be no refund because our lease states such.

I have filed a complaint with the attorney general office of georgia. They have had numerous complaints and will help us!!!! use reference number 04-0122-135N as i did. This reference is from another fellow that was ripped off too. Still waiting for thier response now. Go to thier website and send them a fax or call now!!!
