PCDIRECTBIZ RIPOFF Smyrna Georgia
I was contacted by PCDIRECTBIZ and told I was eligible for a laptop for $99.00 down.
After sending money and hearing nothing for several weeks, I called and was told to send a lease aggreement. The agreement was never mailed to me, so I used the online version. After sending lease agreement and hearing nothing for several more weeks, I called again. I was told it would be another 10 days, although $99.00 had already been processed though my bank.
Then I recieved an email stating my credit scores had changed and there would be an additional $350.00 deposit required. Even though my credit had not changed, in the previous 90 days.
I filed a complaint with the BBB of Atlanta, case# 7005250. James Cook (jcook@pcdirectbiz.com)stated in his reply to the BBB that I had misread the letter he sent me and there was no refund due. Even though, I never recieved a letter from him at all! The BBB stated they could take no action at this time.
As you can see, this is a standard pattern to ripoff unsuspecting customers. BUYER BEWARE!!
