Complaint Review: PCS Business Printing John Harris

PCS Business Printing, John Harris Christina Harris, Betty Chitty Caution, dishonest thief using the down economy to steal Chattanooga, Tennessee

We ordered business checks from PCS Business Checks USA. When the checks arrived, they were personal 6" X 3". We contacted the business and they said by John Harris that "The federal reserve bank dictates the size of business checks." After I quit laughing, I informed John that he was wrong. The standard business check is 8" x 3" and that is what we ordered. This was at 11:57 AM on November 11, 2009. Mr. Harris then told me "I don't have to listen to your smart mouth." On November 17, 2009 I sent the personal size checks back to the business with delivery confirmation. After waiting for several weeks for the correct checks, we discovered PCS was not going to send the business checks and they had not refunded our $96.78.

After some research on PCS Business Checks I find they have a history of rippiing people off. Prior to contacting our credit card company to dispute the charge, we called PCS and tried to communicate the fact they had sent the wrong checks and we would like our money back per their 'money back guarantee.' We were told "good luck with your dispute, we know how to work the credit card system." And at this point they appear to have a system going. After we disputed the charge, Harris came back with some phony documentation indicating we did order the smaller checks. What he did not know is we were able to track the changes to his webpage. What he did was go in and chage the webpage to reflect the corresponding order numbers to show we has ordered the wrong size checks. Of course the credit card went for the altered documents and re-charged our credit card. So, we sent the credit card company documentation showing the altered order number.

As of April 11, 2010, Harris has our money, but we have opened an investigation with the credit card company. Now I know why Harris does not list his address anywhere on his webpage. He does not want the public to know he is in Tennessee. I am sure the attorney general in his state will have a pile of complaints about this rip off con artist.

Business Checks

I have ordered business checks for years from NEBS, and now Deluxe. The business checks I have always ordered are 6" x 3". My personal checks come from the bank and they are 6" x 2 3/4". One easy way to tell is a personal check is about the same size as a US note.
