The person that called named Max Wayne, first called my husbands work place.  The message he left said that there were charges against him involving someone using his social security number.  I called the number he left and he said he was calling in regards to a payday loan that hadn't been paid.

He said I needed to get a prepaid card and start giving them $200 every 2 weeks for the next 6 weeks. I immediately went and got one and put the money on the card and it was immediately withdrawn.  I have since tried to contact them and their number is disconnected.  They faxed paper work for me to sign and fax back to them.

I'm now feeling like such a fool, because this is obviously a scam and I don't know where to go from here.  Is there anything I can do to get my money back?
