PeachTree Settlement Funding Company are rude and thay are ripoffs Boynton Florida
Paechtree is a ripoff and i will fight them till the end.
It all started April 2008 when my boyfriend he had some money from a structured settlement due to a injury and at the time we were going thru some rough times and we decided to go and try to get all at once. So the person that was helping us was Chris Bloshure and she was really nice at first helping us (you know like the kind of"kissing our a** nice")go thru the process, so what they do is schedule you a court date and provide you with a lawyer( who fee is 2,000 dollars) and our first court date was June 19 and the judge had approved that he could get it all, so we were really happy.
THEN like a week later we had to go to court again because it had to be approved in the county that the money was actually granted in. so then when went to court on AUG 19 there it was denied, yes we were angry, but we had come to grips with it, and once we thought about it he would be giving half his money to them assholes. SO then Chris called him & his mother and they had a conversation on the phone about how she was sorry that it didn't go thru and stuff and they were like that's okay we decided to leave how it is anyways its better in the long run. and so she was just saying that he had to pay the $500 advance back and we said that's fine!!!
THEN its feb 10th 2009 and i call my boyfriend insurance company because he's supposed recieve his first payment from them and they said it was so to peachtree and i said why. so i called peachtree and thesse b**ches got his money( but to keep you updated: i was unaware of this, no one contacted me in 6+ months ( i mean no letters, no nothing)oh yeah but i stupid birthday card. so i call and i told why is this happening if it was denied we don't want it that way and they tell me that it can't be reversed so now i'm in a battle with them and lisa doug dana and chris is VEr y rude and acted very unprofessiona

I can understand what you are going through. One thing you might want to do is to find out exactly what this attorney fee was and if the attorney gave Peachtree a discount, if the attorney gave Peachtree a discounted price, but Peachtree charged you the full price, then a crime has been committed.
As for the money that you have not received because of the prior approval in one the courthouses, you may want to mention to your insurance company or your boyfriends insurance company, that the statutes must be complied with before the money can be directed to Peachtree. The statute states that both where you reside and where the accident was settled must be approved. If the deal was approved in one but not the other, then you may find comfort in the state that denied the deal. Becasue this Judge knew that it was not in your best interest and Peachtree kept the money..
I would contact the Judge and the attorney where it was denied.
