Peak Fitness dishonest, misrepresents contracts, lies about club features Winston-Salem North Carolina
Peak Fitness lied to me about the terms of their contract. I was told I could cancel my contract at anytime and now they won't let me.
I signed up prior to the facility opening and I was told that there would be tanning beds installed that could be used for the same cost of membership. There are not any tanning beds in the building. I was told that I would be notified when the club opened up. I was not.
To date I have these people 75.00 dollars and all I want is to free of the contract. They have started collection activity against me. I have not even been issued a membership card.
I was completely lied to about the details of the contract and now they want me to complete the terms. This company is full of RIP-OFF artists. You can't even get ahold of anyone in the home office via telephone to try to resolve the issue.
All you get is a bunch of run-around. Marcus Luke (supervisor over this club) and Marti Williams (one of the people in the home office) are terrible to deal with.
If you are looking for a plact to work, I would suggest you try somewhere else.
