Complaint Review: Peak Funding Alex Carr Jackie Cunnigham Lisa White

I received a call from this company saying I can get a $5000 loan through a law firm and it would only cost me 228.42 monthly. All I had to do is send in a copy of my drivers license, social security, pay stub and proof of residence.

This info was faxed and I was told I could received the loan but I had to pay 685.42 insurance deposit that would be refunded the 1st week of March. It had to be sent Western Union to a woman named Jackie Cunnigham in Mount Clemons Mich.

The money was sent and I confirmed pickup through my broker Alex Carr. He then told me everything was good and I should have the money deposited into my account by the following day.

The money never reached my account.I called the next day and was told by Alex Carr that I should have it by end of the day. That never happened.

I called again the following day and then was told I needed a additional 685.42 to cover the insurance because there was something on my credit report and the law firm wanted an additional 3 months insurance security .I sent the money and confirmed pickup.

I was told the money should be in my account by noon the following day and a congratulations. Nothing happened. I attempted to call back today and to my suprise no one pics up, infact it goes straight to his voicemail.

I have called the local Garden City Police department, have spoken to and have Western Union doing an investigation. I will be contacting my Attorney General, Local Police, Social Security Admin, FBI, and the FTC as recommended by Wesern Union Security Department. They have given me the following web sites and phone numbers to contact and file a report. FBI- IC3.gov, FTC phone 877-382-4357 consumer.gov/sentinel, Social Security Admin 800-269-0271 ssa.gov, and fraud.org. I recommend anyone who has fallen victim to this scam as I have to please contact those departments and file a report, and also contact Western Union and have them start one as well.
