Complaint Review: Peak Performance Auto

Peak Performance Auto sells used cars that are advertised as passing a vigerous saftey inspection. I bought one of their vehicles in April 2008.

Upon obtaining an inspection sticker I was told the car needed brakes....705 dollars, month one. Month 2?...the car was in the shop for leaking oil, the oild coolant lines were gone, another 300 plus repair. Month 3?....the car needed a service check (I owned the vehicle for 4 thousand miles god forbid that engine serve maintenance be done ahead of time) another 200 plus. Month 4?.....oil still leaking, back in the garaged this time?...oil coolant part another 300 plus repair. Month 5?...Tire blew out on highway, (again remember viperous safety inspection) needed 4 new tired.....800 plus. Month 6?....hmmmmm took a break. Apparently car was OK this month. Here we are month 7 of owning this car and it is being towed from my driveway as we speak (no clue what is wrong with it now, it stalls out everytime you step on the brake).

With all the used car dealers in the area who may or may not be honest why waste your time with a dealer who is a crook? If you love your mechanic?...buy a vehicle from Peak Performance because you shall have a monthly date with your mechanic from date of purchase on. I have paid half in repairs what I paid for the car, And I have owned it 7 months.
