Please let me know if I'm not the only one with this problem.

I recently received my bill (I have been a customer for 2 1/2 years) and had a $34.95 PPV charge. We have never been late or missed a payment - EVER.

I talked to 2 reps at Pegasus and 1 manager. They gave me the line about how it is not possible that we didn't order this. Well I believe it is possible.

Here is why:
The PPV was ordered at 5:00 am on August 23. The PPV was showing at 7:00 pm on August 25. Everyone in my house (husband, age 16 Daughter, age 8 son) was home the morning of the 23rd. No-one but my husband and I know the password. I have a loft bedroom overlooking the room with the receiver. There is no way I would not have heard anyone at 5 am. This is a fact!

Then on the 25th (which I distinctly remember as it is me and my husbands anniversary) no one watched this programming.

If Pegasus knows for a fact that we ordered this, why would we do this and not watch it?

I understand that it seems highly unlikely to them that we didn't order this. But I wish they would give a paying and honest customer some better help then saying ha ha thats what we hear all of the time.

I will pay this as it looks like they will charge me late fees and the big company always wins.

If anyone has a choice between satellite and cable - Don't choose satellite!

noticed our bills just kept getting higher and higher

To make a long story short, we have been a paying customer for about 2.5 years. Lately, I have noticed our bills just kept getting higher and higher. I also noticed that multiple PPV's were noted and they were duplicated movies "ordered" sometimes 3 times or more in ONE MONTH adding up to about $120.00 in PPV's.

We called and disputed the charges, the customer relations operator was extremely coarse and they then disconnected our service until payment is rendered.

I do not know how to go about disputing this outrageous claim; and I have gathered previous bills which we have paid in full which indicate multiple/duplicate orders being charged and paid.

I refuse to pay it! And now we have no TV !

I could really use some advice on how to dispute/settle this matter.

pay per view problem

i work for directv and not pegasus but if they are anything like us then they looked at a certain screen in our system that can tell us if it was ordered over the phone or ordered with the remote. we are 2 different companies and if their policy is like ours on pay per views, you might be able to get a one time courtesy credit if you have never received a credit for pay per view in the past. if you have though it will be very hard to get back the money.
