PENSARIS CORPORATE TRAINING, BUENOS AIRES, ARGENTINA ABSUIVE TO FOREIGN (EX-PAT) INSTRUCTORS AND DOES NOT COMPLETE OBLIGATIONS TO CLIENT Buenos Aires Capital Federal
Very simple and succeintly, we requested that this company provide immersion classes for our Spanish speaking, already conversational in English executives. They promised us a NATIVE (not native level) instructor. We attempted 3 courses and each time we were sent a different NON NATIVE ENGLISH speaking instructor, who also had zero background or education in law or business. On the fourth try, after being immensely patient, that requirement was finally met. The instructor was from The States and had received her MBA with a minor in Business Law. Great! She gave one set of 4 classes, we had paid a course fee for a total of 16 weeks. She returns for the fifth class and humbly and sincerely advises us that she cannot continue giving the classes as PENSARIS HAS TOLD HER THAT SHE WOULD ONLY BE PAID HALF OF THE HOURLY WAGE SHE WAS PROMISED!
We attempted to intervene on her behalf, to no avail, and were told that this was an internal matter and we had to accept the instructor they chose for us, despite our prerequisites. We then cancelled the classes. PENSARIS HAS REFUSED TO REFUND OUR MONEY FOR THE UNUSED PORTION OF TIME.
In speaking with the instructor, she informed us that this is a common practice by PENSARIS. They attract the ex-pat community with lies and decrit only so that they can state that they have NATIVE instructors. The company is run by Argentines and all the office staff are "locals", and quite rude at that. The instructor went on to state that they treat the "local" instructors much better and with greater honesty than they do the North Americans and Europeans (English speaking) who are in her words, "treated quite shabbly and like disposable commodities".
A very sad and disappointing experience and this business should be avoided at all costs!
