Pentagroup Financial, Paula Sabbie Screamed at me then hung up on me! No joke! Houston Texas

Paula Sabbie (spelling?) from Pentagroup called my husband, and told him that he had to give her our checking account information, or she was going to sue him. He told me about it, and of course I became suspicious right away. He called Paula back, told her I had a question, and put me on the phone. Paula screamed at me, "This isn't the 1-800 party line! Youir name isn't on the account, so I'm not talking to you! Rob can do whatever he wants to do, and then tell you what he did! Have a nice day!" and then she hung up on me!

Pentagroup currently has 82 complaints against them at the Houston BBB. I'm not sure who makes me angrier: the crooks who do this kind of stuff, or my husband for falling for this scam when he should have known better.

Close that Bank Account!

Since your husband apparently gave this bottom feeder the bank account information, I strongly urge you to close that account and re-open a new one. I know it's a pain (I had to do it once when my purse was snatched with my checkbook in it), but it could protect you from future unauthorized withdrawals.
