I did a search on people data for an old friend and it listed a person meeting my description. So I decided to try to get this person's address to get back in touch. The site said it was $10 to perform the search, which seemed reasonable enough.

I entered my credit card info, and it said it was processing, but then it failed to process. So I tried a different credit card. This one said it wait through and to wait for the results of the report. After about an hour, there were still no results.

I immediately looked up and contacted their customer support to inform them of what happened. I got no answer. I waited a few days for any sort of confirmation email from them, I got nothing.

A few weeks later, I got my credit card bill. They had charged me $20 and still I had no information.

At this point, I sent them another email requesting either a full refund or a partial refund and the information I originally requested. There was no response.

About a week later, I called their phone number, which simply said to leave a message and they would call back. I left a message with my cel phone number. Again, no response.

I sent another email later noting that I had tried calling and emailing before and had gotten no response.

Finally, I sent an email from my main email account to their customer service email address and CC to their contact email, figuring that perhaps my yahoo one was getting filtered as spam somehow. And I got a response saying:

Thank you for your email, in order to assist you, I will need either the email address or credit card number you
supplied when setting up the account.

Sincerely,

Customer Service

Peopledata, Inc.

So I responded to the message with the email address I had used to sign up. And again, no response.

It's now been about 2 1/2 months. Still no refund. Still no info.
