Peoples Credit First ripoff deception Tampa Florida
I almost fell for this one...desperation does crazy things to your mind. Something didn't seem right, so I did Internet search and got here. Now that my mind is a little clearer, I've taken a closer look at this letter and wanted to share these tips for future ripoffs before you send off that check!
1) There was never ANY mention of either VISA or MasterCard...it only said "platinum card".
2) There was no legalese or enough small print. They site terms and conditions in your membership package, but the last time I remembered, you are supposed to "accept" terms and conditions BEFORE you become a member.
3) There was NO telephone number. I wanted to call to clarify the sentence "you may use your platinum card immediately upon receipt FOR ALL PURCHASES FROM CREDIT PROVIDER". (Now that statement was enough to confuse anyone, and I figured at this point that this was one of those, you can only buy merchandise from one company, scam).
4) Not too many companies will issue a legitimate credit card for $5,000 without some type of credit check!
I hope this will be helpful for all. It is a shame that these companies take advantage of people like myself, suffering from financial and economic distress!
