Paid Peoples First Financial 3000.00 dollars to get first and second mortage loan modifacations. This was in May 2008. It now is Sept and we are selfs have secured the loan modifacation with the first after paying them 2200.00 dollars. Now the second wants to forclose. I am going to try and settle but they want 2000.00 dollars.

I too thought I got my own modification after paying

I hope other homeowners on here realize all the work Peoples First Financial puts into these cases. I too was a customer of Peoples and thought we received our own loan modification after hiring Peoples for their services. The company sent me 3 full pages of notes that they had taken this whole time and told me it was also common for homeowners to receive the modifications directly to their houses like I did. My name is David and I too thought the loan modification magically appeared one day until confronting Peoples on their exact notes and 56 pages in my file with them. I am however very happy with my new rate of 6.5% and did I mention that my foreclosure sale was stopped!!! Thank you Ranee, Kevin, Trevor for the great job your company did on my loan modification.

Client, "trendt", may (or may not have) contracted Peoples First Financial for Research and Analysis of existing terms on a home mortgage. After completing a pre-qualifying screening, Client would have had to agree to move forward with our services. A contract would have to have been signed stating specificially the terms and agreement between said Client and Peoples First Financial. Any breach of contract would null and void the terms and would disallow a refund.

Having only supplied a first name and the state - we cannot comment on any aspects of this case since it cannot be determined which client this is from limited information. There are many factors that can determine the outcome and results from Research and Analysis provided by Peoples First Financial - this could quite easily be another situation where a disgruntled ex-employee, competitors or a client that failed to meet their obligations are quick to point their finger.

While it appears this lack of communication from the Client to Peoples First Financial during a vital period of the Research and Analysis process stems from something beyond our control. It is no doubt an ironic coincedence that a result was achieved with clients lender.


Peoples First Financial welcomes contact from "trendt" in regards to his file and case. Even after reading slanderous remarks posted from the client with no validation or information to support these claims - we are willing to review all cases in an attempt to restore said Clients faith in Peoples First Financial.
