Peoplesearch.com CLKBank completely scammed out of money for a search engine that didn't exist Internet Scam
peoplesearch.com full scam - took my $29.95 so I could supposidly search for people, and for adoption records. Their search simply had links to some government agencies. There was and is no actual search engine. Also when I call the number they immediately refunded my money, and the girl on the phone sounded as though she had been refunding money forever. I didn't even state why I was calling - they knew why. Total scam and ripoff.

We do not sell anything for the price you indicated ($29.95) and have no record of any purchase you made with our company, PeopleSearch.com. Our professional services are only available to attorneys, and not to the general public. Only our "Quick Search" is available to the general public, but costs only $7.00. We do not sell or offer any kind of subscription service for the public.
We constantly get calls and letters from people like yourself who have purchased from a different company, then contact us with a complaint. Unfortunately, this confusion with other companies has caused us to restrict our customer support services to our clients alone.
Suggest you contact your credit card or bank to determine who your purchase was made through. Please do not contact us again as you did NOT purchase anything from PeopleSearch.com.
You may have purchased from a company using a similar name, for example people-search.com or usa-peoplesearch.com, etc.
