Despite promise of trial period, PeopleSmart will charge your card immediately. I did a check on myself to check accuracy, and they did not find a speeding ticket I got a few years ago - my insurance company did. Should be simple. I asked for a full refund based on bad data, and they pass the buck to data suppliers, and no refund. DO NOT USE THIS 'SERVICE'. is is useless

You may cancel at any time in that period to avoid a charge. The immediate charge you are referring to is likely the $1 charge we perform immediately to verify an account before authorizing a membership. This charge is then returned to your account. If you keep the membership, you will be charged $39.95 at the end of the trial period for the annual membership. If you feel you have been incorrectly charged, we would be happy to issue a refund.
