Then as you navigate their links you end up realizing that they want you to pay. It seems like you need to pay in the neighborhood of $1 for the basic lookup, but you are acutally subscribing for a monthy service of $20 a month. Internet
They wait to bell you the $20, so it seems you were just billed the $1, but if you watch your paypal account, you discover that you were billed an additional $20 later and then every month. I believe if you read the small print, they may say that they will do this, but beware. This is a very expensiive reverse phone lookup. $1 + $20 a month until you catch it. Having said that, they are prompt to credit the charges once you catch it and call them. Internet
Watch out for the deceptive advertising ! Upon searching for a freee reverse phone look-up, Peoplesmart comes up as such a freee service. After you go through a few of their service screens, you discover that to actually get the informtation "the report" it is not free. They have a couple of pay options. This is where you have to be careful, because it is easy to think you can get a one time basic reverse phone look-up for about $1, but in reality that isn't the case.
They charge you the $1, but what you are really doing is signing up to pay them the $1 plus $20 (which isn't charged immediatly) every month thereafter. An extremely expensive reverse phone look-up! If you don't catch it on your paypal account, these charges can go in perpetuity. So much for the "free lookup."
