PeopleSmart Deceptive online marketing, bait and switch, offered 7 day free trial $1.95 but charged $39.50 month, Internet
I needed a phone number and agreed to 1.95 fee plus free trial. PeopleSoft automatically billed my bank account $39.50. The invoice didn't specify a subscription service. The website is "marketing fluff" with BBB and other endorsements, but if you dig deep you find legal agreement and requirements for customer to find the link to opt out. This is intentional and deceptive.
I have requested a refund but received an email that I will not get one. I didn't request an ongoing service but was trapped by this deceptive marketing website. I tried to call the 1 800 number but received only an automated message.
Deception in Omaha! I would join a class action lawsuit to protect the integrity of internet commerce.

They advertise "hype" guarantee satisfaction but then overcharge and conceal
"Your purchase is backed by our 100% satisfaction guarantee"
I'm not at all satisfied. I ordered a phone number for $1.95 but was charged $39.95 for service that I didn't request. Deleting my account doesnt work unless I dive deep into the website and follow the secret path.
