Peoria Kia Rip- Off Peoria Arizona
On 05/24/08 I went to Peoria Kia to purchase a vehicle. THE ONLY REASON WHY I WENT BACK WAS BECAUSE OF MICHEAL CRAWFORD WAS HONEST. I was told he was not longer in business. I trusted them.
On 10/11/08 I recieved an add from Peoria KIA stateing they wanted to buy back my Sorento, it didn't matter how much I still owed they would pay it off and under no obligation would I have to purchase another vehicle from Peoria KIA.
That same day I call Peoria KIA let them know the details about my Sorento, I let them know I the vehicle had high milage, I let them know every detail. Allen the used car sales person said "No problem, we can get you out the Sorento and into something you can afford"
The appointment was made for 10/12/08 at 1000. I live 2 1/2 hours south of Phoenix. I left my home at 7 in the morning to make sure I was there on time. I met with Allen I was ready to come home with a lower payment and different vehicle.
"Sorry we can't help you" "We can put you in a different car and lower payment if you want to buy another car"
I let them know I was not a happy camper, as well as thanking them for wasting my time.
The sad thing is, this was the second time they said they could help me get out of this vehicle.
I spent $80 on gas, money I really didn't have to get up there.
Peoria Kia is a deceptive, misleading, quisling, dealership. When Micheal Crawford was there this didn't happen. He would rather loose money, than loose your business. You can rest assured when Micheal Crawford shakes your hand, his WORD is as good as GOLD.
When Peoria Kia lost Micheal Crawford, they sold their soul to the devil. They are EVIL, deceptive, their business tactics are despicable.

We personally met Michael Crawford when he was at Peoria Kia on April 8, 2005. We were in the market for a new vehicle at the time. My husband and I drove down to Peoria Kia from Ash Fork, AZ, which is over 150 miles one way. I had seen Mr. Crawford on a commercial spot on local CBS affiliate, KPHO, channel 5 and was impressed enough to go to Peoria Kia. We dealt with Mr. Crawford, not Dana Moore that day and any time we bought a vehicle from Peoria Kia. We bought 5 vehicles from him and he is the most honest, truthful person you could ever know. He was ALWAYS up front about everything from start to finish. Dana Moore was never to be found, only Michael. Michael gives out his personal cell phone number on air (radio) as well as on the television infomercials and commercials. I loaded it into my cell phone. If we had a situation going on because of the distance we drive, we would call Michael's cell and he would get the situation taken care of. Also Michael was always available to talk to you if need be.
Back in June, my husband and I were getting ready to look for a new deal on a car and we called Michael's cell. He told us that he was no longer with Peoria Kia. We were disappointed but lo and behold, we started to see advertising on AZTV channel 13/7, and heard that he had his own dealership. We went there and got a great deal. We went to the new dealership because of Michael. That is why we always went to Peoria Kia when he was there. He always treats you with kindness and greets everyone. He is doing the best to get you what you want in a car and the best deals.
My husband called over to Peoria Kia in July about doing a deal and the sales person, Victor, never called back. If Peoria Kia was so interested in our business, Victor would have called back especially since he had handled 2 of our 5 sales in the past. Evidently Peoria Kia did not want our business. Also in July 2008, we started receiving emails stating Welcome to Peoria Kia, why would they do that if we are repeat customers? I assume that one would receive an email like that if Peoria Kia is looking for new customers.
In November 2005, we were up in Flagstaff, AZ (which is much closer to where we live) and I (Sherie) looked at a 2005 Kia Sorento and took a test drive. While I was out on the test drive, my husband Mark, unbeknownst to me, called Michael and told him what I was doing. He said, Get down here and I will get you into a brand new Sorento. See, Michael cared about the individual customer and we drove down and drove away with a brand new Sorento (2006), not a 2005.

We understand that it is a matter of public record that Dana Moore (Peoria Kia) has filed a civil suit against Michael Crawford. This is outrageous. Michael Crawford as stated above is the most truthful and honest person you could meet. He would never do anything dishonest. His business ethic is beyond reproach.

I have a copy of the letter that you got from larry Guillen talking about buying back your Sorento. You are not the only one that got one of these letters. A guy named patrick in Ajo Az got one also. After reading the many copies of the letter that have been sent to me. I can't ever recall this dealer ever sending letters like this out in the past.
These letters make me feel that there is somebody new at the helm of this dealership that does not have both eyes on the compass of their ship nor do they have both have hands on the wheel.
Doing some research I find that this dealership is taking Michael Crawford to court. For what, I don't know. My only question is why would a guy that owns a new car dealer take Michael Crawford to court? As a Car buyer's Advocate, I have seen it all. During this time. I find it hard to think that Michael Crawford would try to do anything to wind up in court.

I am willing to bet that some CSI is headed in the wrong direction now that Michael Crawford is gone. I have not talked to Michael Crawford for some time now. Maybe we have somebody that is upset that they know that they will have a hard time finding a guy that has the abilities like Michael.
I have been a car buyer's Advocate for some time now, and it's hard to find honesty and integrity in the auto industry. If a Guy bumped his head, he might need to rethink his thinking about people that have abilities to bring customers to a place of business.
Michael Crawford is not there anymore and I feel that somebody needs to GET OVER IT. One will never miss the good that they have until the GOOD IS GONE!

You went to get rid of your Sorento and buy a new car. If your Sorento was worth $8,000 and you owed $11,000 on it you are in the negative for $3000. That $3000 will be rolled into your new loan. If you got a $20,000 on your new car, you roll the $3,000 from the old loan into that - so now you have a $23.000 loan. Now you are paying on your new car and your Sorento that is no longer yours. It doesn't sound like you did that but try to at least pay off one vehicle before you buy another one. If you have negative equity the car dealer simply rolls that amount into your new loan, it doesn't just disappear.
