Well, let's sum it up... the Pep Boys in Orange California located on Katella has screwed up my car time and time again, until of course I stopped taking it to them....

I origionally took the car in for basic service, before a trip to Las Vegas... long story short, when they replaced the timing belt, they thought it was a good idea to disconnect part of the air conditioning low pressure side, and leave it like that... so I roasted all the way there and back!

Secondly, on the way back the water pump I has replaced started leaking, and pouring, which by the way took them FIVE times later in the next two weeks to get it right!

Their brakes don't last, and EVERY time I have had them changed the brakes the rotors ended up warped! They were using the wrong pads!!

They refused to fix the air conditioning, and said I should pay for it, and I got no-where with their little errogant p***k manager, it's a good thing I have a life, and that it outweighs sitting in prison for 25 years to life! Finally after talking to and tracing down a DM (district manager) They fixed the water pump, so I thought that was nice, and they just made a mistake....boy was I wrong!!!

I decided to get the brakes done that day, so I paid for it and let them... bad mistake! They told me I needed two new calipers, a master cylinder, rotors, new brake hoses, and new other odds and ends! So I let them do it. (I'm smacking myself now across the face as I type this!)

Not less than a month later the car didn't stop like it should, and they said it was wheel bearings, and they needed to be changed. I know what a warped rotor feel like, and sounds like, it wasn't wheel bearings!!

To make a long story short, I took it to another mechanic, and he told me in his words, that whoever did all of this work needs to have their head examined!! I agree!
