Pep boys hackensack thieves New milford, New Jersey
Never ever ever ever use pep boys of Hackensack to get car repairs they are the biggest crooks in north jersey ,now I have no personal vendetta because the car I called about wasn't even mine but a friend a single lady with kids she had a 1998 ford taurus that needed rear struts so I called a few places price shopping. I called. R&S Strauss 545.00, Midas $ 560.00 , mieneke 568.00 sears 407.00. Pep boys 775.00. Loll. I was like are you serious. Lol. Pep boys in hackedack the worse also they do keep your car all day for bs jobs I had a friend who's car was there solder Friday and Saturday for a brake job. ..... They suck

The price difference is because Pep Boys includes the price of strut mount plates in the event they are needed, the others don't, they just tack it on once your car is in their shop in a thousand pieces. Pep Boys also really does honor that 5% low price guarantee, all you have to do is produce your written estimate from the other shop and they will beat it. As far as time, a shop who tells you a job will be done in a half hour just to appease you isn't going to do ANYTHING to your car, and just charge you. It takes time to repair cars, it is not magic, it is hard work. Customers who rush mechanics through repairwork are as guilty as the shops who release the cars. If you want the job done right, don't make the mechanic do 4 hours worth of work in 20 minutes.
