I Took my Dodge Caravan to pepboys on 04/25/2002 with a broken timing belt. They fixed it and I got it back on 04/27/2002 and on 04/29/2002 A camshaft seal blew ( This was the area they worked )

I took it back on 05/01/2002 after fighting with The service manager and the Store manager about them fixing this on the phone and in person. They replaced the seals for no charge
and I got it back 05/04/2002. I had driven the vehicle home and then the next day I drove it and going down the freeway the Temp light came on.

It was shut off and pulled over. I checked and there wasnot water in the radiator. I got coolant from a local store and when I poored it in it would go out the tail pipe. I tool my Van on a trailer the next day to Auto West Dodge after calling pepboys to advise them.

I was told by Auto West dodge that the front of the water pump had blown out. The water pump on the 3.0L Engines in the 1988 Dodge Grand Caravan are turned by the timming belt along the the camshaft the blew it's seal.

Pepboys would not fix this. I have taken them to court
gotten a Judgment for $5,000.00 but They will not pay.

Pepboyshas made an apeal with the courts and it streching this out longer as a result. I want my $5,000.00 awarded by the court and pepboys to stop costing me more money because they don't want to pay to have my van fixed.

When They got this Van the Engine only had about 70,000 miles on it and it was good to me I would like to have it running again.

Place a Lien On Their Assets

If you have won a judgement against PepBoys and they will not pay, place a lien against their assets. A Sheriff will go to the store, place a lockbox on their cash register and take the monies until the $5000 is obtained.
