My son, a Captain in the Army and now Texas Army National Guard getting ready to deploy, recieved an intimidating, threatening letter regarding tolls not paid in 2015 (4 years prior) with a car that is no longer owned, and with no notice or report or outstanding bill owed to the state for tolls. In addition, he had a toll tag during that period. The tolls reported owed were spaced 10 minutes apart and one was logged around Fort Hood and one, 10 minutes later in Austin (a good hour away). Attempted to contact the firm with the number given. There was a 20 minute hold and a message giving another number to call, and it was the same number initially called. When finally getting to voicemail, the message, "Mailbox is full and can't recieved messages." After 2 hrs of trying to connect via telephone, decided to email to clear up the situation. No response. This must be a scam. The were all sorts of tricks to attempt to defeat you from persisting in trying to contact them. The sum of the tolls was $10.42 with an administrative fee of $125.00 for a grand total of $135.42. Ridiculous!
