Complaint Review: Perennial Care

After lengthy conversations with the company; I decided to give them a try.  At the very end of the conversation; they mention it is not under Obama Care act to help with the taxes.  

I continued on because I had already put so many hours into talking with them.  I figured I could opt out any time.

You cannot use them for the first month so that is an easy months payment they get.  Then I booked some appts; one for dental and doc and lab work.

We were paying 42 for dental, 25 for vision, 69 for prescription, 40 for lab and 588 for doc visits.

Only to find out it doesnt cover any wellness; which maybe I made an oversight in that area.  The doctors didnt know anything about this insurance so it was extremely hard for them to figure it out.  We never had an urgent care matter to go to doc while I had this coverage.

For the dental; they had no clue but I also see a holistic dentist.  The other dentist I called said they wouldnt work with them.

Then for the eye clinic; they didnt know how to give us any savings and that was at an eye doctor they recommended for my area.   The people who work for the company were not the most helpful.  I felt a bit helpless.

Then I had lab work done; I could get it cheaper on my own than thru them!

Then the thing that topped it off was that when I went to get my meds filled; I received $12 off of $230.00 for a months worth of pills.   I pay 69 a month!!! Do the math; robbery.  And the 'card' says its a California Prescription Assistance Program; I think thats what I get in the mail for free.  It says it never expires!!!  

Flat out a Major SCAM.  

Please do not even attempt it.
