In December, I completed an online survey and was given a free sample of Perfect Prime and Radiant Restore cream as a thank you.  Unfortunately I signed up for the "free trial" but did not realize I had to opt out in 14 days or I would be automatically signed up for on-going shipments.  As I was checking my bank statments tonight, I noticed a charge of $89.95 from a company called Beauty Face Serum.  I immediately called the customer service number and was told I was going to received the automatic shipments as I had not cancelled in the 14 day trial.

I told the rep Jasmine I had not signed up, nor did I recall seeing terms that stated I had to cancel within 14 days.  She argued with me that it wasn't her fault that I didn't read the terms.  When I asked to speak to a supervisor, I was told she could give me a 35% refund.  When I again askd to speak to a supervisor, she offered a 50% refund, then ultimately a $75 refund.  I told her this was an unfair and deceptive practice and these "opt-out" offers were unfair to consumers and I would be filing a complaint.

I wasked for the name and address of the company, and she told me she could not give it to me.  I then asked for the name and address of her compant, and she told me she couldn't give me that either.  She would only state that she worked for a customer service comany in Utah.

This is a complete rip-off and must be stopped.
