We contracted the Perfect Storm Protection Company in April of 2005 to install hurricane shutters for the upcoming hurricane season.

Through countless phone calls and companints they finally finished 8 MONTHS later, NOT the 10 weeks that was stated on the contract.

Their excuse is the small print on the back of the contract that states "war" as a reasonable delay. I really dont know how they were affected by President Bush's decison to go to war 2 years ago.

It is now AFTER hurricane season and we went through 2 storms without shutters.

Now that they're done, the salesman's daughter Lori is coming to collect the full balance due. 8 months later after a 10 week promise and they still want a full payment? What about 30 apoligies for the more than 30 calls we made without a return call? What about a discount? They only gave us a discount for the sign we put up in our yard before they even started.

Wait until they see the NEW sign that will be in the front yard!

I have found another honest and respectible Hurricane installation company who says that the work they performed for the money they are asking is almost theft.
