Perfect Voucher, Ltd. What kind of company steals a customer's info to pay for their business expenses?
On or about December 29, 2015 I visited the website perfectvoucher.com to purchase a secure voucher using my credit card. My intent was to purchase the voucher and use it play bingo online for real money.
I input my credit card info and also personal info to make the purchase. They asked me for alot of detailed info. At first I was ok with this because what I was doing was equivelant to wiring money. When doing this to avoid fraud alot of questions are asked of a customer.
At the last step of completing my transaction, but unfortunatly after I inputed sensitive information I knew at this point I couldn't trust this website or company because the "verified by visa" window opened up.
#1. I never registered this card with verified by visa
#2. In the right hand corner of the window should state name of my credit card or bank but it did not
#3. Perfectvoucher.com had moments ago asked for the name of my bank
When I could not enter a pin for verified by visa because I didnt have one my transaction was declined.
There was an option to leave a msg on the website so thats exactly what I did. The message stated:
" I tried to purchase an evoucher a few minutes ago and I leave you with this thought... I am pretty sure the verified by visa is not genuine. I am not canceling my credit card but I will be checkiing it often If you intend to use information submitted on this website for your financial gain I suggest you leave mine out of it."
After checking my recent transactions I saw a charge I didn't recognize for $36 for Live Chat. I contacted Live Chat about the unauthorized charge. They said the company perfectvoucher.com had purchased a chat subscription for their website with my credit card. Live Chat refinded my money and they have removed perfectvoucher from ever purchasing from them again.
Even though I have been refunded my $36 I can't move on until I have warned others that ios why I filed a Rip Off Report.
