I ordered 25 Loblollys 4-5' tall, I recieved 24 of 2 different kinds of pine trees 3-5' tall with a piece of tape wrapped around them indictating the date dug of 4-8. By the time I got the trees they were out of the ground for 2 weeks, Not what they claim on their website. I planted the trees and watered them like they recommend and today all but 2 are dead.

I called them and they said they don't take complaints over the phone, to send an email with pictures. I did that and their anonymous responce was "they are a wholesaler they don't guarantee their trees."

We have looked into this report and it seem more and more that this is nothing more than an individual that has a grudge against Performance Nursery, South Bay Gardens, and/or Performance Gardens.

Upon research we have found:

  • No recorded sales since the beginning of the year that include the type of plan material stated above.
  • No lawsuit filed under the name above, for the material named above, or since the beginning of the year for that particular reason.
  • No record of a customer under the name stated in "Reported By:".
  • Another report like this one against one of our other entities, Performance Gardens, that is very similar to this one reported "anonymously" a day after this report was filed.
  • Erroneous statements that imply that the alleged material was purchased from our South Bay Gardens entity as no such record exists.

 

We have been in business almost 30 years and we stand proudly behind our material, our professionalism, and our customer service.

 

We welcome this individual to contact us so that we may determine the actual facts and to report them here for public scrutiny.

 

Some of the remarks made here about employees that have nothing to do with sales are puerile at best...slanderous at worst.
