Received a call that I owed 1033.13 in state taxes and that the state has sent me to collections. I called my payroll company who thought it may be a scam. I did a google search of the phone number and came across similar reports attached to that number on the ripoff report site.

With more research, I have learned that the collection action taken by this company was valid and not fraudulent.
