Complaint Review: Perkins Custom Doors - Jason Perkins - Perkins Doors

Jason Perkins sends out contracts, expects initial 50% deposit for initiation of custom door building. Responds quickly until money sent. Then does not return calls. Can only catch him when he picks up the phone. Then he LIES about job progress usually via emails. Gave a bunch of sob stories about fake health issues. Stated his wood carver Peter was out of town with some immigration issues delaying project (Peter later verified this was a lie). Stated he would refund our money but NEVER REFUNDED a cent. We contacted lawyers (Consider Earp in TX if this happened to you and you want to consider legal recourse) who state that Jason Perkins has had multiple complaints against him. Difficult to get any money back because of Texas laws. DO NOT TRUST Jason Perkins with Perkins Custom Doors. He is a manipulative lier and thief. Sounds like he preys on INTERNET purchases mostly. KEEP AWAY from his business and save yourself a lot of money, heartache, and frustration.
