While working on assignment at Krogers in Blytheville, AR I came across a pamplet that talked about health insurance for pets and my wife and I thought it would be a good idea.  I signed up for two dogs and a cat we had.  I was charged for this in May and thought it was great.  In June after our move, I was charged for all three pets and after moving and one of our dogs getting killed prior to moving and our cat ran off I called the Pet First company to drop one dog and one cat and found out that without my knowledge they combined my policies and charged me a second time for a combined policy and didn't communicate this information to me.  The person I spoke with told me he told me when I signed up but he is mistaken.  All he told me was I would be charged a reduced fee the first month and nothing more was said.  Today I find out that they charged my card not only the $50.85 for all three policies on June 6th and on June 17 charged me another $19.95 for the combined policies.  I didn't even know this until after the fact because no one communicated this to me.  Then today they want to charge me another $6.95 for removing the two pets off the policy and changing the policy to show just one pet.  Promising me a refund of a total of $51.00 in the next 5 to 7 days.  I am angry that they didn't communicate with me that they were charging me again on the 17th for combining policies and want to warn others not to do business with Pet First Health Insurance.
