We bought a JBJ Aqua-Lighting aquarium light about three months ago. After one week the cooling fans started to malfunction. My husband went to the store to return it and get a replacement. They told him that they can't replace it or refund the money but they will repair it. They couldn't repair it so they suggested that he go to Radio Shack and buy the fan and fix it hiself. The replacement fans were not available at Radio Shack. He contacted the manufacturer of the aquarium light and was told to go through the retailer. He went back to the store and they managed to get one of the fans to work again but it was very noisy but they still refused to give the money back or exchange the unit. This morning, three months later the light quit working at all. I went to another pet store in Jacksonville to buy the unit and they told me that they will replace it if something is wrong to up one year. So I went back to the Pet Warehouse and when I told them that the light failed completely the store manager told me that they will not replace it refunded it or give me store credit. I told him that I will report them to better business bureo, etc. So he put me on the phone with his manager to try to scare me off. After that they told me that if I will not leave the store they will call the police and that they will take my license plate number. So I left and I am writing about it to share our frustating experience.
